Project Summary

Our journey with the Cliff Road House project started with a vision - a tired 1980s brick home with elaborate architectural plans in hand. Our role was to turn that vision into a reality while keeping the essence of those plans intact. We started by lifting the home from its 1980s roots, giving it a fresh lease on life.

We introduced a brand new concrete front balcony, along with a complete facelift for the exterior. We didn’t forget the practical touches — a new off-street parking area and a landscape that breathes new life into the surroundings.

In 2019, our dedication and craftsmanship earned us the prestigious Master Builders Association housing award, a testament to our commitment to excellence. We transformed the home with Blackbutt timber cladding and decking, while anodized aluminium glazing brought a modern touch to the design. The use of off-form concrete and a striking feature stone wall added depth and character to the project.

Highlighted Features and Materials

  • Blackbutt Timber Cladding/Decking.

  • Anodized Aluminum Glazing.

  • Off-Form Concrete.

  • Feature Stone Wall.

Our experience with Joss as our builder was nothing short of professionalism and creativity at it’s best. We had a vision for our beach house to be transformed from the double brick 80s family home to a comfortable modern day retreat and Joss worked with us to deliver something we are so delighted with. Joss’ ability to see our vision, make recommendations, keep within budget and come up with alternatives solutions impressed us from the very start.
